Why we offer partial COD

At Habit Home, we want every order to reach you safely, quickly, and without unnecessary delays. That's why we've moved to a Partial Cash on Delivery (Partial COD) model for all orders.

What this means for you

Instead of paying the full amount upfront or the full amount on delivery, you pay a small advance at checkout — and the remaining balance directly to our delivery partner when your order arrives.

Why we do this

Full COD across India often comes with real challenges that affect genuine customers like you:

Fewer failed deliveries

A large number of full-COD orders across India go unanswered at the doorstep, causing the product to be returned before it even reaches the customer who ordered it. This delays restocking and increases costs — costs that would otherwise need to be passed on to everyone.

Faster processing

Orders with an advance payment are prioritized for packing and dispatch, since they're confirmed and ready to ship immediately.

Better availability

By reducing failed and returned deliveries, we're able to keep our prices fair and our stock available for customers who are genuinely ready to receive their order.

This isn't about your location

Partial COD applies to all orders across India, regardless of city or state. It's simply a small step that helps us serve every customer more reliably — including you.

Your balance payment is only collected at the time of delivery, directly to our courier partner, so you always get to check your product before completing the payment.
